Hi, I am Zak.
The face behind eventi studio.
In 2022 I left a corporate career in contracting and consulting to start a charity focused on combating loneliness post COVID.
Within that charity I ended up building three communities to foster connection and belonging.
Little did I know what it would turn into.
I now run corporate events, coach teams and host workshops to build team culture. And along the way I built the tools I wished I had from the start.
That is what eventi studio is.
The funny thing is I had no experience in doing this in the first place.
I did not know where to start. I just had a pen, some paper and an Excel spreadsheet to manage my budget.
No templates. No system. No roadmap.
I figured it out as I went, and these templates are everything I wish I had from day one.
So picture this. My first ever event planning session looked like this.
A blank piece of paper and a pen with Excel open on my screen. An unreasonable number of attendees, basically all my friends and their friends. An expensive idea with absolutely no money in the bank. Four tabs open on YouTube trying to figure out where to even start. And I was already onto my third coffee.
Not really that fun. Just a lot of nervous energy.
Luckily, I found help.
The help came in the shape of a man who used to run events for the big four banks in Australia. He took me under his wing when I ran my first gala.
From there I learned everything. Sponsorships, preparation, execution. The lot.
Which brings me to you.

So instead of quitting when things felt messy,
I started building systems to support the work.
I needed to create a system that would replace me and not make me be in multiple
places at once.
